need feedback for Stone/SS build
Looks fine to me.
The Mocking Beratement should be a regular IO since you don't have set bonuses in Taunt.
I hope you meant to put the Force Feeback proc in Foot Stomp.
I posted a build that achieves 90% resistance to all but psionic recently. I don't know if that is your goal, but it does make a big difference. Having enough psionic defense to soft cap with 1-2 small purples is nice.
Thanks for the feeback Syntax42.Sorry about the delay, I´ve been AFK (and AFMids) for a while.
I´ve been checking out some of the other threads, I can see you´ve a fair bit of experience playing stoners. And that´s a very nice build you have there! Out of curiosity, how much difference has it made to survivability capping the resistence on your stoner? I thought that maybe I was going a little overboard on increasing survivabilty (softcapping defense) on a tank that´s considered the toughest tank in the game. Have you gone up against anything that really threatens your stone tank?
In answer to your question, it is going to ba a force feedback proc in footstomp. I just needed to see how the real recharge times were.
I am trying to create the most survivable tank I can. I´d prefer to do it by using just the one build if possible.
Any tips for increasing the resistences on my stoner?
Thanks

I suppose it is overkill to have that much defense and resistance, but you never know what Incarnate content will bring. Capping my energy resistance made a big difference when fighting Recluse. Taking less than half the damage I did previously is very easy to notice.

Well, I´m back...
I´ve done some tinkering with my build and think i´ve come up with something pretty good. I´ve still get a very high defense to everything in Rock Armour, though E/N has dropped to 44.6%, while S/L is still capped.
I will be using a few PVP IO´s, but the price for them is actually very reasonable at the moment (for the ones I want, at least)
In Granite, I´ve managed to get resists capped to S/L and up to 88.6% against E/N/F/C. He still has soft capped defense to S/L/E/N/F/C too.
There is of course a downside. The slotting on rooted has changed. I do loose 5% global recharge and the regen value has decreased a lot.
Is the new build worth it?
Here´s the new build:

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can improve the resistence, or anything else for that matter?
Thanks in advance.
@SCALLYWAG, Union
I see a lot of people skip all the other armors once they get granite, which seems a bit absurd to me. There's no reason to have a second build. I always like to have Rock Armor and Minerals at least 3 slotted, not only for the set bonuses, but also in the event that you have to fight psi enemies. Psi damage doesn't really hit that hard, so you'll usually be fine with just granite on, unless you're on all psionic maps or fighting a psi AV. In those cases, you just turn on minerals and rooted and you'll also be fine. There's no reason to have 2 separate builds. The vanguard psi shield and the psi resist accolade are also pretty simple options.
I agree, I find Rock armour to be very survivable once IO´s are in place.
The aim of my latest build has been to get a build where i´ll be soft-capped to S/L/E/N/Psi with Rock & Crystal armour running along with Minerals AND have the toughest build possible with Granite.
I´d like to have my cake and eat it too.... that´s not asking much, is it?
I think I´ve achieved it with my latest build. I didn´t need to resort to getting the expensive PVP IO´s either. The 4 Gladiator IO´s I do have only cost about 20 mill.
He´s up to lvl 43 now and is very tough, but not imortal. The times I´ve faceplanted has usually been because of the Rage crash reducing my defense and starting a cascade failure (on the ITF). At lvl 43 I´ve just got enough recharge to get Rage perma and avoid the defense debuff. It does require that I activate Haste as soon as it´s recharged though. I don´t always manage it in the heat of battle unfortunately... I´m too busy using Footstomp
I´m wondering if it might be better to put more focus on getting even more recharge. It´ll increase the window of oppertunity to activate Haste, for those occasions where I am too preoccupied/dopey to click Haste.
Are there any suggestions about how I can improve Granites resistence, getting them to the cap? Is it do-able?
Thanks for your feedback so far.
@SCALLYWAG
Well, I finally got around to playing, and sticking with a stone tank. He´ll be my 8th tank now, and experience has luckily given me the patience I need to actually stick at it this time (my 3rd attempt). The city traveller vet award has really helped too; saving 1 power selection and getting TP at lvl 6 was a great help.
He´s level 30 now. I´ve got the 3 sets of Kinetic Combat I need to softcap S/L defense in Rock Armour. It´s made a huge difference to his survivability.
I´m trying to finalise his build and could do with some feedback, this is my first time building a stone tank.
When he gets to lvl 50 I´m most likely gonna slot the Cardiac Alpha, mostly to reduce the endurance costs of Super Strength, which I´ve found to be very endurance hungry, but also to push his resistence ip to, or close to, the hardcap. A bit excessive I know... but VERY tough.
Any feedback/advice you can give me will be much appreciated.
Thanks. @SCALLYWAG. Union
