FM/SD vs KM/SD?
KM/sd. I like how the debuffs/buffs stack. /sd gives KM more AoE which is nice. Rather ST based for KM, but if you solo a lot then that's ok. I made a brute version of this, but it's too low to say much about it. I will say normally I skip the lowest damaging attack on scrappers, but KM tends to force you to take it since you don't get a 3rd ST attack until much later. You can respec out of the first attack later once the build has matured.
Fire/sd. Even if you just for FSC, it's a lot better of an AoE. You have to find out how annoying the DoT is to deal with. Sometimes it's better to switch targets after hitting them just to let the DoT take effect. It's end heavier. Fire will be less resisted which is a bonus.
KM/SD. I the damage buffing is nice, and if you monitor it on the character, it makes you feel like you have fury haha. And KM has mitigation and not a huge loss of damage.
I am giving the shield defense a try for the first time and trying to decide between primaries. I was wondering what the scrapper wisdom is on Fire vs. KM with the shield set. This would be a PvE toon only. A lot of solo with some little teaming.
Any thoughts or reflections would be appreciated. Thanks.
(FYI: played 1 of each through the early levels to see if animations or feel said one over the other. I have liked them both okay so far.)
