EM is ugly. Total Focus has a reduced critical, ET has no critical (just no health drain). You'd be better off with another set that isn't 1000% Single Target and has the criticals of it's two best powers ripped out in favor of something else.
Regen is not too shabby. You can heal off a lot of what hits you, and if you build with defense in mind it just gets better.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

You will have more luck/fun with a build like EM/NIN or EL/WP
Sure, Regens heal a lot...but it's much nicer never being hit than trying to fix damage received on the fly.
