Liberty Cathedral of Pain Trials

Hopefully this will get stickied up there with the Hami raid note. Anyone who's going to run a raid, feel free to post it here with details.

I'll be making my next blueside run Saturday 2/19, collection in Pocket D starting at 8:30 EST for a hopeful 9 EST launch. Heroes and vigilantes only for this one. (Next one will be redside.)

This will be a pickup CoP-- I'm going to try it without reservations and see how it goes. Repeat: there are no reservations, just show up. Feel free to have someone from your channel put this in the MotD.

Special request: Since I suspect we're going to overflow like we did last time, I would like some other SG to be on standby to run a second CoP. Shout out here if you have the raid porter, the three people, and are willing to lead another if we have enough folks show up.

Teams will be filled in the following order:
1) 1 person from the sg with the raid porter on each team
2) 1 tank or brute with a damage aura on each team
3) 2-3 support people on each team, corruptors and defenders preferred to controllers and masterminds
4) All remaining slots filled by anyone who can do damage (yes, Doms count, as do most spares from steps 2 and 3)

These steps are completely sequential. We don't look for damage until we have support, and we don't look for support until we have damage auras. If you want to be sure to get a spot on the raid, bring a damage-aura tank/brute or a support character and get there on time! If you want to bring a blaster, scrapper, or stalker, please do-- we'll need you. But be aware that you might be waiting around a few minutes before you get a team.

Team leaders have full discretion in terms of who they add in all steps. If you bring something that the team can't use, you might get told no. At which point, switch characters or get on the second raid. :-)

Please keep an eye on Request for updates from the team leaders in terms of who needs what. If you arrive late, please announce on Broadcast once what you brought and that you're looking for team. Don't spam Broadcast repeatedly if you don't get an immediate response. When the team leaders are looking for people they'll announce it on Request, at which point you can send them a tell or announce on broadcast one more time. When teams and the raid fill up, we'll announce it so people can stop waiting (and go start the second raid).

Everyone should come equipped with Shivans, Envenomed Daggers, and Vanguard Heavies if you have the merits. Shivan runs will probably start half an hour before collection, so if you need to grab the power show up in Bloody Bay at about 8 PM EST. And if you need Vanguard merits, hit the mothership raid on Friday.

Please remind me what alignment (possible alignments) have to be to run the trail. Was thinking of bringing my brute.

That raid was butter-smooth. Took less than ten minutes (with Big Red, admittedly).

Anyone willing to explain a couple of things to someone not in the loop?

Do I have to be in a big SG to participate? I have a 'personal' SG, just for the characters of me and my partner, so, 2 players. I assumed this meant I would never be able to do the trial. Is there any option I wasn't aware of?
