I know this isn't the forum for this, but it used to be ok in the past with this server. This is my Illusion/Rad build (draft 1). My goal is to be soloable with Perma PA, but also to be useful in groups. I posted it on the Controller forum, and the one guy who replied posted a link to some other build that included Hami origins. As much as I'd like to think Hami's grow like apples, the chances of me seeing one are currently right up there with me seeing a girl naked outside of work (strip club, in case anyone has any questions). I mean, jinkies! I ask for help, I'm told to spend trillions. I know that worked (or didn't) for the Democrats, but... I'm but a simple man.

But doesn't group invisibility cover you anyways? Or does it not work when not on a team. If that's the case, I'll have to restart the whole thing.

Well the bottom line is you're not going to get there without spending, but you also don't necessarily have to have perma PA to reach your goal with an ill/rad (Spectral Terror can tank a little too).

Your build is pretty solid, but if +rech is what you're aiming for, I'd consider adding more options for slotting lotg 7.5 (granted those aren't cheap, but neither is a set of 5-6 of something that grants it's +rech equivalent) like Weave and Maneuvers, which for your build would require dumping Fly and RFriend, you already have Leaping /SJ/ and depending on how long you've played the Vet group tp will do, especially since solo'ing is your intent.

Also in my experience Flash is crappy, the rech is much too long plus STerror is nearly as effective, is up frequently so multiple spawns are possible, and you can slot the psy damg proc in it, which you already did.

HO's also are no longer all that, some long gone devs saw to that years ago.

GI does indeed make SI overkill, I use the former on my ill/storm all the time, it covers you and the team and it's another good place to slot a lotg 7.5.

A few tips, hope it helps, have an ill (npi) wife to tend to, so have fun! :]

-If none of that helps, be more specific about looking for a thrifty build if you go back to the troller boards for further advice.

ill/rad is fun but i always love my fire/rad corr more ;p

perma pa is 206% global rech, i managed to get perma pa on my ill/storm but it was very pricey and i took psi tornado with the +rech proc (which hit quite often).

Ill/rad is a little easier since you really just need 186% global (perma am will give u 20%). So shoot for 116% rech, which would give you perma hasten for other 70%.

You can get the same 5% rech by six slotting EAdaptors in Consume, as apposed to the five Oblits in a power you hopefully wont have to use that often, plus you add a little extra aoe damage (plus about a one second aoe animation hold while casting consume). Not to mention the +end doesn't hurt.

--I would drop Superior Invis for Combat Jumping if yer only gonna put a LotG%. You could also put a stealth IO in sprint if you want more stealth.

--I would also remove all slots from Mutation.
Personally I wouldn't even take Mutation (the old "hand them a Awaken" arguement) but everyone has their preferences

--Stamina could use some lovin'
