Most Interesting Characters?

Currently, in no particular order I'd say

The Plutonian. Imagine if Superman was never all that stable to begin with, but he managed to still put on the show of being a paragon of what's right. Aaand then he finally snaps and starts a -calculated- rampage of death and destruction.

Max Damage. The flip-side of the Plutonian. A complete monster of a villain decides someone needs to step up to be the hero the Plutonian was supposed to be.

Survivor. A former ally of the Plutonian who seems to be taking the speed course on "how to become a powerhungry fascist."

Magneto. I like "noble evil" villains, but I also like the redemption aspect of what they've been doing with him in Utopia too.

Dr. Doom. It's Doom, c'mon.

Moonstone. The whole manipulator aspect of her character amuses me.

Sinestro. Even though I -still- don't like the name Thaal Sinestro, now that they've finally started fleshing him out to give him a motivation for what he's done, he's a much better character.

Guy Gardner. Tvtropes put it best, I think. Essentially Guy doesn't wait for the Call to action, he actively busts down doors looking for it.

Black Adam. Going back to the whole noble evil thing, (WWIII aside) Adam is my favorite character in DC.

Daredevil has always been my favorite. When portrayed the right way Daredevil/Matt Murdock seems to answer the question: "Wouldn't someone who jumps off rooftops and fights crime in spandex be a little crazy?" And in some of the story arcs, the best ones, Matt/Daredevil has lost it many times and goes a little or a lot insane. Also, when you throw out the fact that other characters that came up in Matt's situation (semi-abusive, alcoholic father. abandoned by his mother) would have probably turned into villains and yet, Matt's a hero. He's one of the most interesting characters in comics in my opinion.

I haven't read the most recent stuff from Andy Diggle due to financial cutbacks but I intend on catching up via TPBs soon.
