Let's say I've got a level 50 toon in the Rogue Isles, and I want to gather a team to play MA arcs. Where's the best zone for me to set up shop and announce I'm starting an MA team looking for members? Grandville? Cap? Mercy? Somewhere else?

Good luck with the AE in Grandville.

I'd suggest Cap, the 'hub' of Rogue isles and the most common AE locale.

They put MA in the RWZ? That is the weirdest thing ever. I guess even our soldiers in the war for the planet gotta relax, though.

I wonder why they don't put access to MA into Pocket D?

You aren't alone in wondering, but the warzone is a handy place to host AE runs. Since redside activity can be hit or miss on many servers, a co-op MA run will indeed get more attendance.

*edit* Hm. They may have kept it out of pocket D to avoid letting Praetorians out too early...golden land is all to easy to outlevel as-is. But this is speculation, and I'm unsure how long in advance they had Praetoria planned.

The only drawback I would see is you would be limited to teammates lvl 35 and up, but that's probably for the best anyway as low-levels are probably loathe to spend time on half-XP MA missions.

I guess I need to make levelling my MA-playing character up to 35 my goal for this Double XP weekend!

You're in luck- the warzone is open to all 1-50 now. Just make sure the sub-35's are in a team led by a high level lead character, so that they don't get killed.

(You sound like you may be a returning vet- just so you know, the team leader or set mission set all members to the leader/set mission level, avoiding the old troubles with sidekicks. Just FYI if you hadn't found out. )

Any level can enter the RWZ.

All the hazard/trial zones had their level gate removed with the exception of PvP and Hami Zones.

Oh, from day one of AE Closed Beta, we begged the Devs to move the RWZ AE from there to the D.

Others convinced them to remove an AE from Croatoa, which I thought was silly to do if you had one in every other zone that was just as unlikely to have one.

Anyway, back to the D. If they did have an AE in the D, Praetoria would not have been a problem. There is code to exclude Praetorians from certain missions. And the AE terminals could have been put in a room in the D that excluded Praetorians.
