Try canceling the update and start over. You will not lose any progress you have made.
If that doesn't work too well, go into the CoH folder and delete the .checksum file. This will cause the updater to rechecksum all your files and figure out what it really needs to download.

First close and cancel the updater completely. Then try the updater again. See if that speeds things up. You will not lose any progress you have already made.

Hey guys. I know there have been many posts like this before, but none seem to be to the extent that mine is.
After running the updater overnight (fell asleep at the "Fixing Files" stage), only 76.8M out of 1.4G have finished downloading with a 12.4K/sec speed, estimated time remaining currently 33:03:47. This seems to be a pretty accurate estimation at the speed its going.
I am running a pretty good computer with a good internet connection, so I'm sure it has nothing to do with my hardware or internet. Is there any way to speed this up, or am I going to have to wait 33 hours and waste a couple of days of my subscription time?
