New Player Looking for RP VG and SG.

Relatively new to the game (Older account but really haven't played in some time) and looking for an active SG and/or VG for my toons. Currently I'm pretty evenly split between the four of my characters and which I stick with will likely heavily fall into which ends up in a group that I enjoy spending time with. For my heroes I'd prefer to find a single group to place them both within.



At this point though I'm just shopping around. There were so many choices within the SG directory that it made it difficult to really pin one down as there were so many quality entries. Hoping some members of the community might help to bring forth some group names, perhaps some that aren't even listed on the directory.



Short descriptions of each character follows:

(Villain) Veil Spider: Hard core Arachnos loyalist he puts the concerns and future of Arachnos above his own thirsts and desires. Planning on going Bane Spider.

(Villain) Xyrus: Temporal/Planar Parasite. He feeds on thoughts, emotions, and the very essences of other sentient creatures. Looks plastic and fake as if manufactured, when observed closely one can see something beneath his clothes and skin shifting occasionally. Hops between various time lines and realities through whatever means possible in search for food. Highly paranoid and believes he is being hunted by the rest of his "race". He does take his duties towards the Menders and Ouroboros very seriously as he understands better than most what damages to the time lines can mean.

(Hero) Far: Psionicist and energy manipulation. Mutant. Far was horribly mutilated by his powers when they fully revealed themselves only a couple of years before. The back lash and explosion of psionic energies both mental and physical that erupted from him scarred his body with terrible burns. He wears a full body containment suit that keeps him safely encased to prevent any more energy from leaking out of his body. He is a scholar and any time not spent mastering his relatively new powers will be spent either reading or studying.

(Hero) Nick the Blade: Undead occult detective. His dress style is reminiscent of Humphrey Bogart from “Casablanca”. Nick wields a katana and a number of dark magical powers granted to him via deals with formidable malign magical entities. Serves as a detective and agent fighting against the magical threats of the world.

For SG I have it narrowed down to: Justice Corps, S.C.O.R.P.I.O., and The Codex. Doing some more research, if anyone has anything they can say about aforementioned groups that would be helpful.

I was in Scorpio for a while a long time ago, they were a pretty solid group. Very organized, big on uniforms and such. The members were really nice as well. The only thing I wasn't in love with as a member, it was difficult to RP a super hero. Their RP group theme was more down to earth, more Batman than Superman if that makes sense.

If you have a character that you think would fit in with Scorpio, I'd toss my hat in with them any day. It's possibly the best RP group I've been in on any game.

Scorpio are good guys, the level of threat was a little too high for my characters who were a bit more lower powered but they are fun people. There's been some reorganization with divisions, sort of a 'green' and 'black' last I checked but they are pretty quick on looking over apps.

Sadly the VG I play with wouldn't fit with either of your villains so no advice there

Thanks for the reply Kai. I'm actually in the process of filling out the application for Scorpio right now. Still looking for a VG though, if you know of any please don't anyone hesitate to mention them.
