coming back to game

havent played in a while and i do not have GR yet but i want to make a new scrapper, that being said, i want a scrapper that can solo most TFs. I do have a 50 spines regen, but i have never updated her with IOs, she has a butt load of hami's in her but thats it. Im not really sure of the survivability of regen for something like that.

i have read some of the forum here and i see stuff for soloing pylons and AVs but like i said, id like to do TFs.

from what i have seen it looks like SD, invul and willpower are the top three or would i even be able to turn my regen into a TF beast also?

the only thing i prolly wouldnt be able to afford is the GA IO(unless i learn to play the market ).

by the way, im just looking for the combos not the builds, builds ill deal with later

A Katana/Willpower has successfully soloed a Master of ITF. (which means zero deaths and no temp powers), so that would be a good one to try I guess.

For TF's, I think that Fire primary is good, because the AOE component helps with mobs, but there is great single target dps for AV's and such. Shield defense would probably carry that to the extreme.

For single target damage, DM/SD wins, so you can see your role on tf's as killing bosses and av's, it is fantastic.

For lower level tf's, I would probably consider WP as a secondary choice. It blooms steadily as you level where SD really matures later.

Also, love the katana, and it blooms early and gets better as you go. Easiest scrapper to lvl IMHO is Kat/WP and does well on tf. Some AOE, so could pair with DA (which blooms later) or FA or ELA for more AOE, but that requires some patience in the early levels compared to other secondaries.

Invuln is good, but it is not my cup of tea, so I won't comment there.

Of course, any scrapper secondary is actually pretty good on tf's with minimal investment. Having made about 20 variations of scrappers, my fire/shield seemed to outperform my others on tf's, and she can also solo the ritki pylon thing if needed as well as AVs(even though you did not care about that).

If you're not against insp usage and eventually moderate temps (no spending time to get shivans, nukes or stuff, just grabbing what's available on the market - i.e. the very useful envenomed dagger), any scrapper combo will solo most TFs just fine.

thanx for the input guys. i decided to go with a DM/SD as i already had one at lvl 20. still might make a ?/WP tho too lol
