Dual Pistols / Radiation (DP/RAD) No real commentary?

I have done some searching on the forums and haven't really been able to find much information about the combination of DP/Rad. Although I am a fairly experienced player in this game I was hoping to find some build advice since Dual Pistols is new to me. Based on my examination of the powerset I figured the most flexible option would be Rad. So I am curious does any one have experience or advice that they would like to share about this combination?

i have a lvl 31 DP/Rad corr, and i love him, i mostly solo so i stayed away from the AoE attacks and secondaries, but the ST damage is good enough to stay alive through some larger mobs.

So the idea here is to survive as a hoverblaster/buffer/debuffer, with perma-hasten and perma-AM. She's got 117.5% global recharge, which, combined with 3 slotted hasten and AM, should be enough to have it on all the time, even accounting for the odd recharge slow effect hitting her. With Assault, AM and 9% damage from set bonuses, she's got +44% to damage, outside of ED, and that's before her alpha slot, which will almost certainly be Musculature.

I opted to put 2 purple sets in there, but since they're the non-damage sets, they should be modestly affordable. The Luck of the Gamblers will be supplied by Villain Merits, which I'm farming on my dominator (and this character, who's currently level 29). Panacea might be a tricky get, I may have to downcheck that to a less awesome set. We'll see.

Not trying to second guess you, just curious. Why not put the KB Reduction in Hover? From an END and DEF standpoint, doesn't it make sense to have Hover on during combat rather than flight?

First off, the -KB IOs work all the time, no matter if the power is being used or not...
