A couple of possibilities.
1 - Your first 15 members of the supergroup 'give' the supergroup 20K prestige each. This doesn't count.
2 - Someone spent Inf to buy prestige. This doesn't count.
3 - The badge tip showing 300k is broken.

I'll second what WoefulKnight said. As I understand it the only Prestige that "counts" for that badge is Prestige characters earn from critter defeats. Prestige you get from people joining your SG and INF conversions don't count. This keeps you from effectively "buying" that SG badge with personal INF.

Prestige earned while in AE missions apparently does not count toward the SG badge either. This might account for the difference as well.

I've noticed an interesting thing. My Supergroup has been active for about a month and a half.. we have accumilated well over 2 million prestige, which almost all has been used to construct our super base. The other day I was looking through the supergroup badges, and the one stating "supergroup aquires 1,000,000 prestige" It says we have only collected just under 300k prestige. Is this some sort of bug or is there something I am missing?
