Purple My Warshade
Warshades do benefit from significant recharge because it allows them to get perma-eclipse and get mire up more often (as well as allowing them to spam their AoEs more). You can get a build that's almost as good without purples but they do help.
Warshades also benefit in that unlike a lot of characters they can easily slot 5 purple sets in powers that are themselves very good so the extra enhancement values help while a lot of other characters would end up putting one or more purple sets in powers they they don't really use much.

I have the answer written up in my guide, let me fetch the snippet.
The 'Purpled Out' Set Build
I couldn't talk about this kind of build if I didn't have one, so for this section, all thanks go to Organica. Look, we all know what the purple sets are and the best places to put them. The only really questionable one is Armageddon, which I believe should go in Dwarf Mire since it hits harder and faster than Sunless Mire. Quasar's an option, I guess. Regardless, that's all I've got to say about where to put them. What I want to talk about is "What good do they do?" Not much. No, really. I'm perfectly honest here, there isn't a whole lot of improvement over a build from the previous section that has permanent Eclipse. I mean, let's face it; permanent is permanent. Overall, the enhancement values are a bit better and you get an absurd amount of accuracy, fire/cold resistance, and recovery bonuses. You quickly reach the recharge needed, so you either frankenslot other powers with better enhancement or enjoy a larger buffer between Eclipses. There are, however, two really noticeable benefits. The damage procs are probably the most awesome part of purples. When you can cap your own damage bonus, procs are pretty much the only way to get even more damage. Make no mistake, purples have the best of procs because they hit harder and have a higher chance to activate. The second awesome part of purples is the exemplarability (I made that word up). Since the bonuses (and the procs!) stick around all the way to level 1, purples really allow for steamrolling low level content. |

The only benefit I have seen is I rarely run low on endurance and my recharge rate is great.
But you have to casually purple warshades. It's the law.

I have followed decks guide and play with the MFing WS mentality of all things at all times and repeat the mantra "more bodies, more bodies" to the point it freaks out my wife.
I have found 5 x Lotg is the first place I put my expensive enhancement into

If you see a rainbow costume or named "Emcc" it is me
No, this is not a troll about noobs wanting rewards NAO, but rather a real question. Do warshades really benefit that much from a purpled out build? If so, why? Is it as simple as an ungodly amount of recharge allows multiple stacks of powers, or is it something else? Finally getting around to leveling my shade up, and wondering if this would be a fun one to start to IO out.
