DP secondary effects stats

The secondary effects for DP (the ones accessed via Swap Ammo) used to be visible in game by looking at the details of the powers, but somewhere along the line that's been removed. Is there anywhere in game where I can see, say, how much -RECHARGE / -RUN you'll get from ice ammo, or how much -DAM you'll get from toxic?

You should be able to right click on the attack powers (not the ammo) and view detailed info. Be sure to switch tabs to read the descriptions and view the numbers for the powers. You may have to have the desired ammo type on in order to see the effects. I don't have a DP character, so I don't know for sure.

Mids' latest version includes full functionality for Dual Pistols.

That's where it used to be (it used to show all the effects, but with a 0% chance which would change when you activated the appropriate Swap Ammo power), but now shows only the effects for the lethal ammo, regardless of whether you have other ammo types activated or not.

As for mids, I figured it'd have the info, but I'd rather not have to use an external program.

I don't have a DP in game (Although I've been thinking about rolling one) so I can't poke around there to see if I can find it, but here is what Mids says. (Using dual wield, I believe they all debuff by the same amount with the exception of pistols)

Chem rounds: -12.5% damage
Cryo rounds: -18.75% recharge, -18.75% run speed

Hmm, those are fairly respectable numbers. Thanks for that!

pistols and suppressive fire don't have a debuff. And the strength of hail of bullet's debuff is 25% on both of them. The durations of the debuffs will vary from power to power.

Pistols still has the -12.5% defense debuff when using standard ammo. A point that kind of puzzles me. Why have the standard debuff but not the alternate debuffs? Then again Dual Wield doesn't get a defense debuff but gets the alternate debuffs and looses the knockback. Some of the reasoning seem kind of arbitrary.

Knockback is the normal effect that standard ammo has. Pistols and piercing ammo are exceptions to this.

And yeah, pistols having no secondary effect outside of standard ammo puzzles me too. The set breaks normal balance rules all over the place. The most egregious one being that its cones have a shorter duration debuff than the targeted area attack does. I wrote up a big thing about rebalancing the set's debuffs during the open beta for that issue, but it didn't go anywhere.
