"Your computer appears to be using old graphic drivers"

Ive had this message since I19 went live. I have a newish Asus Laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 5730 graphics card. I have updated the graphic drivers from Asus's website, at least the most available they had (2/2010) yet the message on the updated is still there.

I had a few graphical glitches before I updated, but nothing so far since.

Should I be trying one of the drivers from the ATI/AMD website or be leaving everything be? I am new to laptops and I thought you should only update drivers from the mfg. website.

Any advise anyone? Thanks

From what I recall, the check is a little simplistic in how it's done, just ignore it for now, at least.

I got the same message. I checked the Nvidia site and found that there were indeed new drivers which I, of course, installed.

Now, I am unable to get into CoX. The game client will not load except in "safe mode". In safe mode I was able to select a character although the game froze on the Steel Canyon loading screen when the progress bar reached about 33%

I uninstalled and cleaned and reinstalled the new video drivers.
I uninstalled and reinstalled City of Heroes.

At the moment I'm just frustrated. I'll probably try and go back to the last restore point after I'm not as irritated.
