Doing Red or Blue content with Vig/Rogue and rewards

If you're doing a particular SF/TF then what alignment you are shouldn't matter in regards to what reward options you have at the end of that SF/TF. I've never heard of any limitations/restrictions as far as that goes.

Can someone please give me a definitive answer about Rogue/Vig doing opposite content for components? I have gotten like 10 different answers in game.
If I am a Vig and do a LRSF will I get the option to choose the component reward at the end?
