Looked through the guides and they are not detailed in there roles, so are they jack of all trades or only jack of some trades, can you build them that way? Jack of all trades is usually my fav type in any mmo.

And I deffinatly want to be able to change forms is that warshade only?

Thanks all.

Well, you can build them to whatever suits you. Some people like to do "Human form" PBers, some like to do a tri-form. It all depends on your personal preference and how you plan to build them.

No, Peacebringers and Warshades can shapeshift.

Hmmm, a slightly more useful answer from someone still new to all this.
Shapshifting is optional in both Peacebringer and Warshade -you can choose to take the Nova and Dwarf forms or not.

As a brand new WS I would say play it, but make sure you have played other characters first as they can seem a little boring afterwards.

I had been soloing mostly (European servers, meh) and using stealth powers to scout for voids before going nova to blast. Then I was asked to team and kept the blaster role with 2 controllers; the team grew some more and the mobs got too huge so suddenly I became the tank as a dwarf. A tank who could teleport away to a safe spot when the team wiped (not completely my fault...) tele the team members to me and then get right back in the game.

And getting back into the game is Stygian. Soloing again today and just discovered the joy of no downtime, Kill mob, stygian continue. Read Dechs guide above and I can just begin to see the dawning of an MF warshade rather than a sneaky blaster warshade.

Staying away from human form so far, except for sneaking and foe teleporting (not as useful as it should be) but I can see it coming into heavier usage with time.
So you are a teleporting/flying/tanking/blasting/mez breaking/dead eating/pet-summoning/stealth assassin that either gets damage bonuses in teams with scrappers and blasters or people who can buff your weaknesses away. Or can solo happily.

Don't bother with guides they are just completely unnecessary in this game.
Kheldians are a good AT i have a level 50 of each. What I'd suggest is that you simply make a build for them once you done that you'll realise that although they can fit most holes in a team they can only really fit one perfectly at a time (you'd have to change build to suit another one with maximum efficiency) Some ppl go tri form some dual some all human. I personally feel that they both have maximum efficiency being all human but that's just my personal opinion. Once you made a build you can play it to suit your play style not some guides idea.

Most of the better guide authors will provide multiple builds with the caveat that those builds are only for demonstration and not to be copied exactly. What you really want in a guide is an introduction to the powers and the various popular playstyles to get a general idea of what you're getting into.

So while some guides are little more than one player's build with window dressing, most of the popular Kheldian guides are significantly more than that and I'd recommend any player new to Kheldians give them a read. Ultimately you want to make your own decisions and design your own build based on your own playstyle - it's both more effective and more fun this way - but a good guide can get you started, especially in an AT somewhat more complex than the others.

That guide is mostly for soloing I honestly want to build more around a team then soloing.

No, Dechs' guide really is more in leveling and playing, and most of it holds true regardless of solo or teamed. Really, a Warshade's going to love teams for the simple fact of having more enemies to mire/eclipse/styg from.
