Fire/Dark constructive critique
I like this build. You get good defense and good recharge without any real junk slotting (junk slotting example: slotting Kick with a knockback set). On top of that you did it on the cheap as well. Major kudos.
Only two little things I would do differently.
First I would get Blazing Bolt over Flares. Sting of the Manticore has better set bonuses than Entropic Chaos and I think BB would be more useful than Flares, especially if you want to PvP. Wouldn't even need to change the number of slots alloted.
Second I would sacrifice the set bonuses gained from slotting Tar Patch and just leave it with a single Slow IO. Those extra slots I would use to better round out some of the other powers. Like a Fear IO for Fearsome Stare, a damage proc or the build up proc for Blaze, the build up proc for Aim or Tactics, slot Numina's in health or slot some more endmod in Stamina.
I agree that the slotting of Tar Patch is mostly wasted, but I disagree on the proposed replacement. I like being able to stack multiple Tar Patches for maximum -res debuffing. So mine is always slotted to the ED cap for recharge. You can do that with just 3 slots, which would free up 2 to be put to use elsewhere.
You could make up the difference and then some on the recharge by 4-slotting Dark Watcher's Despair in Darkest Night. You could also squeeze a little more defense out of the build by changing out the Def/End in Combat Jumping for a straight Defense. The end cost of Combat Jumping is so small there's no need to reduce it.
I would find a way to fully slot Stamina for end mod. My Fire/Dark is very end hungry, and it has fewer toggles than your build. With fully slotted Stamina +end proc +Miracle, I can fuel Assault, Shadow Fall, a patron shield, and Darkest Night while pumping out damage, but my end bar will drop slowly over the course of a protracted battle.
I also agree that slotting tar patch could be wasted, although slotting with curatil speed will give you both a little defense and rech bonus as I did. My primary build focus was on capping s/l def
and I wanted perma hasten. The recharge is 103% with this build, replacing decimations in either fire blast or blaze with apoc's would give you permahasten.
Yes I know fire/dark is an end hog. But with the incarnate end reduction available it shouldn't be a problem, it really isnt a huge factor as is right now for me without the alpha bonus.
I slot Fluffy (Dark Servant) the way I do for when I toggle herd, most of the time fluffy will lock them down rather quickly after being herded to a spot which helps greatly.
This is just my take on the build, it's a little pricey but well worth it imo.
Also, I use the nuke only as a set mule for the armageddon bonuses, I think I've actually used it 3-4 times since I made the toon. Just don't like those yummy toggles dropping.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll do some more tweaking with it.
Long time Scrapper, first time Corruptor! I have browsed the forums and gotten builds ideas for my new BURN! corruptor,
looking for constructive ideas or help from the long time players. He will be used for PVE
mainly solo with TF team play. My focus was on smash/lethal capping with recharge as a
close second.
I dont see any glaring end, acc, or other holes, but I dont have the actual hands on experience to judge.
Any help would be appreciated.
Purples would be ok, no pvp IO's though, not that rich.
