Dual Blades/Fire Shield Need constructive criticism

So I made a Dual Blades/Fire Shield awhile ago, I have made a build, have several people look at, they like it, and i like it, but im not too sure.

I've been playing brutes/tankers/scrappers my entire COH career and they make up most of toons, I love just bashing things in the head up close, no wimpy blasting away from range. But I've also been the one to be different than everyone else and always have a different build, and prove you don't have to be a Elec/SD Scrapper or SS/Fire Brute to be able to be an able body melee farmer. So I tried this out, and Dual blades is great! The cones are awesome for damage, I dont really mess with combos too much, and im Mostly a farmer/AV team person on this toon, so I saw no need to grab a travel power with ninja run. I got my S/L defense up to 45%, and got my fire/s/l res above 45% as well, not too hard with fire res, but just stating. For some reason though, I feel like its not as good as it should be though, Any Advice on how to improve? I have everything on this build already slotted on my toon, so i dont know howd it take it off to sell it, but any advice how to make it better or how to sell massive amounts of enhances off a toon to make room for others?

Only thing I can see is to drop Nimble slash and take power slice to get the sweep combo. Empower and weaken are pretty useless. On my DB, I like to use attack vitals combo +BF mainly but when I get a bunch of mobs I throw in the sweep combo as well. Great mitigation with that one along with decent damage.

Well there is the issue of a little overkill on the recovery, not that it is always a bad thing.

Only 4 points of KB protection will be fine for most things, but since you said you like to do AV soloing, You most likely want mag 12 protection.



Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
