I always loved my little pony! I wasn't born in the first generation but thanks to one of my older sisters i could see it and we still have as a collectors item the original castle with Spike the Dragon. Now that i see their new Anime influence, they are cute, i love Anime and even My Little Pony is originally a cartoon, it will give a new look to give more life to this great series. I love one of the new Princess Pony's which is a deluxe box set. Some of the new pony toys are not of my likes but still a new reason to check Toys R'US collectors area.
Well now if one day Jem and The Holograms make a comeback 
that will be better, A new series of Thundercats is not far away
Sorry bronies, much as I enjoy the new My Little Pony as well (I've got some of the figures hanging out on my desk next to various hero toys), MLP isn't related to comics, heroes, or villain culture. (No, not even when you consider the ponies as heroes and Nightmare Moon as the villain...she was defeated within two episodes [unfortunately])
