Best Way to Buy Going Rogue?

So far I haven't bought the new expansion. I am considering doing so.

I understand I can buy a box in a sotre or go to the NCSoft online store. I have vague memories of people saying that if you bought it one way you'd get more perks than if you did the other way...although that may have been pre-ordering. I've looked around and can't find anything clarifying this, but I assume others have blazed this trail before me.

Are there any differences? What's the best way to get the expansion?

I bought the digital edition of the Complete Collection, even though I already owned CoH & CoV. The CC comes with a month of prepaid game time, which made up for the difference in price between the expansion-only and the collection. The collection also comes with what's in the "Complete Collection Item Pack", which would have cost yet more to purchase separately.

Theoretically if I'd been willing to wait I believe that the box edition of the Complete Collection might be available for a few dollars less at one or more of the larger online and/or brick-and-mortar retailers, but I didn't want to wait.

I bought the GameStop Pre-Order and a boxed version, because I have to have a box.

I got the pre-order digital download, and the perks for that was beta testing the Demon Summoning and Dual Pistols powersets in closed beta and a 3rd wave invite to the Going Rogue closed beta. Obviously those are history now.

The box does contain some perks, depending on where you get it. On the other hand, if you don't want the box, but still get some perks, there is a pack that you can buy and download from the on-line store.
