Can't enter SG Base

I'm gonna state the obvious first... make sure your rent is paid up.
And if your rent IS paid up, then you may have run afoul of the base rent bug and you will need to petition to get your base up and running again.
But even so, the most it should do is kick you back into the zone, not hang up and do nothing or dc.

Yes, figured the obvious of the rent. It's paid in full.
BUT it doesn't do anything. It starts to load the base then completely dies. Doesn't crash, doesn't return to log in, doesn't do anything but sit there. I walked out of the room and returned 30 minutes later and it's STILL there.

Ok, so I came on tonight and the updater wouldn't run. As soon as it got started, it crashed. Test worked and I could get to the test server but live was out. So I tried to re install the game again into the same file to have it fix whatever was wrong. Well it had quite a bit to fix.
After it fixed the sound files (Which seemed the only thing wrong) I loaded into the game with success. However, I can go anywhere through train or ferry or whatever BUT I can't access my SG base. The bar fills a fourth of the way and then CoH stops communicating with my PC as the Task manager says there is no response.
So anything I can try to get back into my SG?
