Necro/Dark Build Help

Hi all,

It's been quite a while since I've played my MM, and am wondering how this build will do with the changes to the game over the last couple of years since I've really played my MM. One question in particular - what does the Purple unique "chance of buildup" do?

Here is my current build. Its centered around ranged defense for me and +recharge. Please let me know your thoughts and if I'm wasting slots/powers. Thank you!

Not too much to comment on yet, but if you're building for recharge, the Recharge-intensive pet sets give a 6.25% recharge bonus for four slots, and fit in your Soul Extraction.

Also, the Decimation set in Gloom would be useful. Another simple 6.25% boost.

Hard for me to say. I suppose Your Mileage May Vary with it, but a few things...

Gloom is quirky. Some people forego the personal attacks in favor of more utility as you won't be doing too much with it, though it's understandable that plenty are simply not comfortable having no personal attack of any kind.

Hasten, I never understood. The only things that would require any kind of serious recharge are Dark Servant (which you didn't take), and soul extraction which can perma on 3 recharges. Unless you're gunning for +3s or +4s, there isn't anything you'd need to stack Fearsome Stare and Tar Pit on either.

Hover or Combat Jumping would serve better for the defense and immunities they grant, I think. Even moreso with both Fly and Super Jump having a bit more utility than Super Speed, especially in the Isles. Especially if you have Ninja Run.

Adjusted Targeting is worth taking to full, in my opinion. 5% global recharge and 7.5% resistance are nothing to scoff at. Look at what the numbers are for Assault with two EndRdx on it. The second is only a measure of a couple of points, which likely isn't worth a slot on it.

My two cents.

Thanks Alkirin.

I did take dark servant, part of the reason for hasten. I also like the quick recharge on Twilight grasp, I can spam a 450 pt heal every few seconds on all my minions. I typically run in and fight right beside my zombies, keeping them alive through the heals and using shadow fall to buff their survivability. With the availability of jet packs, super speed isnt so bad since I can purchase a "fly" power for 10,000 INF. I like combat jumping and super jump, but couldnt fit them into the build since I took Hasten instead. However, when the fitness pool become inherent, I should be able to fit hasten in a build with CJ and SJ for travel. I like CJ as a slot mule anyway, often putting Karma KB, Kismet +6%, and LotG recharge in there.

Thank you for taking the time to respond, it gives me a bit more to think about.

For the record, Dark Servant is semi-perma with just a couple of recharges also (dead time of a few seconds). Depends on whether the set bonus is worth another power to you.

To amend my first response, I must have overlooked Dark Servant. I had thought it wasn't in there, lol.
