I have never gotten a brute to lvl 20 although I have started a few. When I saw the animations for Kinetic melee I said I have to make one. I decided to try a brute again because of my lack of interest in the past (trying to get out of my box).

So that's where I'm coming from. However, I don't know Brutes well and I don't know Kinetic at all. So here is a quick mids I threw together. I am not a min/max er, I just like to have fun and I do solo a lot (PVE only).

I am at lvl 12 and it has been fun (albeit slow). So I'm looking for advice on, what if any thing that I've taken is skippable. What are some general ideas/attack chains for Kinetic, etc.
