DM/Regen. IO's Set question

So i have my Regen recovery 4 slotted and my Stamina 3 slotted. The 4 slotted has the IO's set with the power plug ( i cant remember the damn name) and im slotting my stamina one with one of those power plug ones that is a +end mod a performance shifter +End Mod. Now the last one is puzzling me.. i have the one that gives a +20% chance of a small endurance boost. In my character build i do have an extra slot laying around i could toss onto stamina, if i slot it now with 3 slots i lose a like 14% drop in end recovery on that slot. Btw what is the best end recovery IO's set for a regen like myself? I have 4 of the plug ones which gives me a 1.5 to recovery and a 10% to regen but the performance shifter gives a 2.5 endurance recovery. So two questions whats the best End recovery IO's set, and what should i do with my stamina at 3 slots toss on the +end proc? or respec and toss 4 slots on it and use the 4th slot for that +end Proc?

I always 4 slot Quick Recovery and Stamina with 4 Performance Shifters:

End Mod
End Mod/Acc
End Mod/Rec
Chance for +End

I'm a big fan of performance shifter. If you're three-slotting, chance for endurance, endurance mod, and either a common endurance mod or a performance shifter endmod/something. With four slots, four performance shifters. On a well-built Regen (perma Dull Pain), you won't need many hit point bonuses, so the three-slot version probably goes to the common endurance mod. You can also six slot performance shifters if you're going for defense, which is a good thing to go for after recharge on a Regen. Everything kind of depends on the build as a whole, though. There's no good way to optimize each power individually and somehow end up with a cohesive whole.

My thoughts are i currenty have 2 powers with numinas heal set about 2 eatch, very nice regen bonus. I figured the performance shifter give the better recovery bonus of 2.5 vs the one i currently have is 1.5 ( or 1.0 cant remember) with a 10% regen bonus. My questions i guess is it is worth it more so to let my numina set give me the huge regen bonus and let my end ones give a nice end recovery bonus, sounds like 4 slots are going to be my next step

For me...I always slot my recovery powers with IOs geared towards increasing my recovery. Same with my health powers...I slot them with IOs geared towards increasing my regen.

The only exception to this is...I slot the miracle +Rec in Fast Healing.

The only real gain out of 4 slotting performance shifters is the hp set bonus (which as a regen you shouldn't need). The recovery set bonus actually equals out the loss you'll have relative to the straight enhancement value you'd be getting from using just 3 enhancements (perf proc, perf end, 50 end IO).

in other words,
3 slots: higher enhancement value
4 slots: lower enhancement value + set bonus = 3 slots (almost equal to)
4 slots gets you some hp.

Just go with the 3 slots. you don't need hp set bonuses.

3 slots give you the HP set bonus.

He's talking about using the 3 slot strategy (Perf Shifter proc, Perf Shifter EndMod, common EndMod) rather than 3 slotting for Perf Shifter.

For me, I don't really see much point in going with more than 3 slots on Stamina or QR. My builds are generally tight enough on slots and easy enough on the blue bar that I generally pull out one or two slots from Stamina regardless.

should have expanded, but Umbral pretty much explained it.

If you want the hp set bonus without sacrificing your recovery value for it, you pretty much have to slot 4 perf shifters. Otherwise the enhancement value is 68.9%, rather than 83.3% (with the 3 slot method) or 92.78% with the 4 slot method (plus recov bonus).

4 slots vs 3 slots is a .04end/sec difference. That's 2/3rds of combat jumping. whooboi
