Video Card Question
That's a 210.
The starting point for Ultra Mode on Nvidia is the GTS 250.
which is several times more powerful than a 210.
However, if what I turn in search results is correct, that computer has a 350 watt power supply.
No graphics card that will run ultra-mode outside of low is going to run on a 350 watt power supply.
A RadeonHD 4850 can run on a power supply that low, but that will only give you low ultra-mode.
The starting point for Ultra-Mode on high details (Geforce GTX and RadeonHD 5770) all require at least 500 watt power supplies.
Which is what I needed to know. So, I'll be in the market for a new power supply.
Or a new computer when tax season comes around.
Thank you for the help, Je_Saist!
I would suggest the complete new system. In most of their computers Dell makes it an absolute ***** to replace the power supply. I speak from the experience of having two Dell computers in the past. They have really good prices for complete systems but they don't seem to want you to tamper with them other than to replace cards and drives.
In fact at one point (and I hope they don't do this any more) they had some sort of system setup where your boot drive could only be read by a dell computer unless you reformatted it. It made transferring data from my completely crashed dell a pain in the backside and is the reason I switched over to building my own.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
This is my current system:

I am in the market for a new video card without having to get a new power supply. As it is, I may have to get one. I called Dell to see what they recommended, the agent recommended: EVGA Geforce 210 512 MB DDR2 PCIe 2.0 Video Card. I'm not even sure how CoH will run on the card they recommended. Any idea if this will work for CoH so I can at least play it with Ultra Mode?
