I'm going to bump this because I'm interested as well and I can't find anything about elec.

I'll tell you what I've found so far in the mean time.

Not solo friendly as your only real dmg comes from Charged bolts and Lightning bolt (with slow recharge). Follow that with low accuracy due to training enh and a miss means even harder. Endurance hog. Steaming mist, snow storm, ball lightning drain you fast. Short circuit seems crap so far but maybe better with SOs?

Advice now is 2 or 3 end reductions (try to craft level 10 or 15 invention ones) on just about every skill except Charged bolts. You'll need 2 recharge reductions and 1 accuracy on lightning bolt for sure. You can change it later with better enhancements.

Gale is another end use but not too bad. You will want an accuracy on that because you have very little crowd control and this will keep enemies off you for a few seconds.

Try to use line of sight and wait for your skills to recharge.

here's what i've come up with so far - i put brief notes what i think is absolutely necessary to enhance first

bolts will need acc first because you dont have many skills for direct damage and you dont want to miss
i'm using 2 level 15 invention endurance reductions on lightining bolt, snow storm, ball lightning, steamy mist and it makes it much easier - i cant wait for stamina

Level 1: Charged Bolts - acc and dmg
Level 1: Gale - acc and end reduction
Level 2: Lightning Bolt - acc, end red, recharge speed
Level 4: Snow Storm - end red
Level 6: Hover
Level 8: Ball Lightning - end red, acc, dmg
Level 10: Short Circuit - end red, end mod
Level 12: Steamy Mist - end red (this+hover means you can fly over most enemies and head for the end goal)
Level 14: Fly
Level 16: Swift
Level 18: Health
Level 20: Stamina - not sure how many end mods yet
Level 22: Freezing Rain
Level 24: Aim
Level 26: Tesla Cage
Level 28: Hasten
Level 30: Hurricane
Level 32: Voltaic Sentinel
Level 35: Thunderous Blast
Level 38: Tornado
Level 41: Lightning Storm
Level 44: Thunder Strike
Level 47: Charged Armor
Level 49: Power Sink

I was thinking about an elec/storm combo too to mess around with. Looking at the above progression, I prefer super speed over hover on my /storms because it goes great with steamy mist giving you enough invis to fly through a lot of missions if you prefer. Freezing Rain should be taken as soon as it becomes available and slotted right away with some Recharge.

I really like Short Circuit but I typically wait a while to take it. It's a great endurance drain to mobs but only after you give it some slots including 2-3 End Mod. It will most likely take 2 applications to drain a mob completely so I throw in Hasten to get it up quicker. Now if you just want to use it as a damage power...

Elec can be light on damage so I slot the two attacks right away with an Acc, two Dam, and -End. I leave Gale alone at one slot but I do like to use two...one for an Acc and one for a Proc of some kind. Most people don't care for it but it has saved my bacon before so I'm kind of partial to it.

I go with two -End in snow storm and steamy mist but they still drain my blue bar far too quickly for my taste so I don't use them very often.

I haven't went beyond level 20 with this so I don't know how this advice would hold up past that. I absolutely love Freezing Rain though.

i will be getting freezing rain right after stamina. you just have so many end hungry powers plus toggles you need it.

this is my friend's character and i figure fly/hover would be easier to navigate. also, hover allows you to gale or attack down, keeping mobs in the pack when you group.

Freezing Rain should really be a priority IMO. It is by far the standout power choice at the level it becomes available. Just take the first tier of Fitness at an earlier level to make room for it. It really will make a tremendous impact on your ability in both solo and team play.

I also noticed you're taking Hover to progress through maps unseen. You actually don't have full invisibility with Hover. Grabbing SS and stacking it with Steamy Mist will grant you the equivalent to full invisibility and will allow you to progress through maps quicker.

if it were my character i would agree. my friend is however, already complaining about motion sickness as he plays. I figure fly and hover are the slowest travel powers so...

i'll have to let him try my other character and see if he can stomach the SS
