Now that red-siders have access to those delightful blue-side epic pools, I'm hoping to respec my level 50 brute into something a tad less squishy. I've had serious endurance issues in the past, but I'm hoping that Superior Conditioning/Physical Perfection will help mitigate that, so that I can actually afford to keep my shields up all the time.

Trying to avoid purple sets if at all possible, and I actually have a smattering of the more expensive of the recipes in this build already bought and crafted. While I slotted everything in at max... the exact levels aren't as critical to me.

Just looking for some feedback, from those who are a bit more experience than myself (this is my first high level melee toon).

I never found myself using Lightning Clap or Oppressive Gloom, no matter how useful they might be.

I appreciate the build, but I'm not really concerned about recharge time, and the additional toggles from Leadership and the additional global recharge are going to hurt my endurance problems rather than help.

Of course, if I'm wrong, feel free to explain why the build you offer is a solution. The character is concept, so I really don't want to switch away from Elec/Dark/Energy Mastery unless there's a really good reason to.

your build use 1.82 end/sec and have a recov of 3.66.
so you only get 1.80end/sec

you got +10% damage with your IOs and ... that's all.


my build use 1.63 end/sec (2.0/sec with cloak of fear, but you don't really need it) with a recov of 3.0
that's a recovery of 1.4end/sec

my build is defense soft-capped in Slash,Lethal, and energy, meaning you won't be hit by most of the shots, and it has better resist in case of a lucky shot from your enemy.

Okay, thank you for that explanation.

I will definitely look at it. But I'm a bit concerned about the cost with all of the Luck of the Gambler slotted.

Regardless, this is my first attempt at planning out a build with invention sets, so I would appreciate feedback from people about it.

you don't have to BUY it.
you can get them with SF merrits, or with vilain merrits.
once you are lvl 20, you can do tips missions, and every 2 days you'll get a villain merrit.

Safe 2 merrits and buy an expensive IO to sell it on the black market, or get the IO you need.

Good point. I haven't gotten any villain merits yet (went rogue for badges) so I didn't know what the priceing is. Thanks for that clarification.
