Even though I'm sure the roast would be extreemly entertaining I'd have to agree that it could go downhill fast.
Rerolling your main is all well and good but that would turn into more of an 8 man event instead of a server event since everyone would be breaking off into teams to go do their own thing.
The only way I'd see that working would be if the event revolved around everyone rerolling their main as a rockstar and then hitting the sewers together as a server. Could be entertaining.
Imagine 20+ heroes rolling through the sewers in Force.

Suggestions to make the roast work:
Pick one person and have all "skits/dialogue" submitted and checked for content.
There can be different settings for a roastee. Meaning let the organizers know beforehand what is off limits. +3= Anything goes pertaining to coh gameplay leave all real life out...+4= Anything goes.

well.. hmm.
Another Issue that i thought of was the fact that according to some statistic from PERC, approx only 10-15 % of the player base reads and visits the forum... some servers may be a bit higher (hello! cat people...)
now while this roast may be appealing, it would be difficult getting the word out with the "rules" and getting the skits/dialogue returned and checked in a timely manner from other members in the Champion Community...
Now.. what I was kind of toying with was having pre-recorded things done and perhaps reserving a night on Dazz's show and having them played there.. We could have various sound effects added in and the content could be controlled that way.. Pick a roastee/volunteer and ask them for a list of potential roasters and go from there... We could obviously get multiple people in the same night (thats what she said!) I know Dazz gets a lot of listeners during his show..
its still a work in progress in my head, but, thats the general idea..
Clearly this isnt something the entire community would participate in. The average person wandering around wouldnt most likely know Budweiser (well. they would if they start off in AP
.. zing!) But i think there are enough "in the know" that it could be fun, if done right.
I like to lead and/or help with anything that goes down. I've been one of the behind the scenes type of people. I think it's time for me to step up to the plate and come from behind the shadows.
