Evening folks,

I've been tinkering with sets that would make a good synergy with thugs and i've decided to go with Thermal. I wanted a set that can decently heal, that can decently buff my pets and a power that can turn them into killing machines, which i found in Forge! Now, i don't want to solo any AVs or stuff like that so what i wanted to do with it is to have big damage and kill before you get killed. Right, without further ado here's the build:

Now, couple of questions. I was thinking about slotting in the Enforcers the Soulbound Allegiance proc but after speaking with some people, they are not sure whether or not is possible to actually slot it to lt or minion level pets. If this is the case, then it would only be possible to slot Gaussian onto the Enforcers.

Another question is whether or not is worth it to slot a Force Feedback proc in the Bruiser?

I think you want gangwar. You can put your soulbound allegiance proc there.

Unfortunately the +recharge procs that used to work in pets no longer affect pets' recharge rate or speed.

As we talked about I have had a look and come up with the following build. I didn't change too much, but I got you gang war to hold the pet uniques (Getting your pets 5% more def and 10% more res) and I put the soulbound proc into the bruiser (Unless someone confirms it will work in enforcers).

One thing I don't know is how much endurance the pets use, I haven't slotted any of them for endurance (I never do on my MM's but haven't played mercs to a high level yet).

I've altered a bit your build, namely adding endurance bonuses to pets, since i'm pretty sure they all require a bit of it. They only lose a very small portion of their accuracy and damage but it is a good trade off.

My fault, I was thinking this was an aura proc. The buildup proc doesn't do a whole lot for gangwar.

I am not a mastermind expert so have mainly used yours as a template. I have changed a few things which in my opinion is for the greater good. I am sure people will shoot me down if I am wrong lol.

Firstly I have got rid of plasma shield as the benefit you get from this power is minimal (in my opinion). I have also taken off an endurance io in forge and 1 x titanium coating in fire shield. In its place I have put in melt armour as it is a crime not to have that in a thermal build. The 5th slot in melt armour you can play around with for example put a shield breaker chance for lethal damage.

I have also played around with some of your slottings trying to get better set bonus's for example putting in soulbound allegiance in call enforcer and call bruiser which will give you more hp.

If you really don't like the change with melt armour you can swap it with combat jumping and slot it similarly to maneuvers. Personally I think you be mad too but either way this build should be slightly more refined than your existing one.

Max, pets need End too. Enforcers run 3 maneuver powers. You're sacrificing too much end for just a tiny bit of extra damage. Nevertheless, i'll take a look on it in a bit.

Edit: You still have Plasma Shield and no Melt Armor.

Haha put your old one in, had a few mid screens opened. I have amended it and should have the right one in place now

With regards to you point about enforcers needing endurance you could put a soverign right acc/dmg/end in place of the HO.

Now we just need someone with experience/knowledge to critique both our builds. I am still adament you will be better off with melt armour for overall usefulness.

If you do decide to now go with CJ in its place maybe put an endurance reduction in warmth.
