Try downloading a new Mac client from your NC account page, it contains a large portion of the files now so it might download faster.
You have decent speed in Singapore but there's no telling what the speed interconnecting with North America is like. It might be a really long wait for the updater.

Hey there! I am sure this is not the first time anybody has posted about this, but when the updater reached 'Fixing Files' it is taking INCREDIBLY long to complete!

Not sure if this speed is accurate but, it can't be THAT slow on the updater right?
do i really need to wait for days just to fix this?
