is Server down to download files?

I messed up today and accidentally quit while it was applying the new patch.

When I went to relaunch it again - I keep getting an error when it starts to verify the files and the updater crashes.

So I renamed the pigg directory something else and then it started to redownload the files.

But it stopped now and is hanging and I am hopefully assuming its just becasue they are doing maintenance and it will start up again as soon as they are done.

If not - then how else can I reload the game? I haven't had to touch these files directly in over 5 years.

There's a maintenance period currently going on, and that might be screwing around with your install a bit, since it might be getting confused.

Start by going into your CoH folder and deleting all .checksum files, since that sometimes causes issues.

Do not despair.

Trying that now.

After new checksum still at 0MB at 0B per second. Guess I'll have to wait until the mant period is over to see if it starts up again.

This will teach me to pay more attention on my computer when I have multiple programs running.

PS - after ablut 15 mins of nothing - it started up again and going strong.
