Devoting a power slot to an effect that can be adequately (though, I admit, significantly less effectively) performed by a pot any vender can sell you is, at least in my opinion, something you only do if you've kinda run out of things to take that you actually need and are plugging up the last few holes in your build wiht things you think might be cool.

That said, Mutaton is much better than most Rezzes (including both of the h3alx0r sets, ironically). At least it actually gives you something extra, and a very nice buff at that. But it won't turn the tide of battle like Howling Twilight will, and that means that ultimately, you could have just waited for the dust to settle one way or the other and handed the dead guy an Awaken.

I should answer your question, though, and no, I certainly don't EXPECT any random */rad I team with to have it. Its always nice if they do, but if not, then I don't mind at all - they had other, better, powers to take.
