What do you mean by power friendly? WP is good for Scrapper not as good as it is for Brute because of the Brutes hit points but still good.
Now what type of Powers issues are you having with your KM/SD? Honestly at level six most scrapper will have issues, you can't really tell how good a Scrapper will be till SO, when you can start to build up defense.

Kewl, I will keep running SD, and trudge it out till I get SO's.
I keep running out of end, alot and I hate having to sit around and wait for my end to refill.
Also with infamy and influence being the same now is there a way to send some infamy over to my praetorian from my villian.

Change up what you slot is my suggestion. I have a Spine/Electric which is solid on the defense. Though not high level yet I too noticed end eating. So I made sure to have end red in asap on every skill. It's worked out for the better.
As for KM ...I have Regen on my first try with Scrapper. End is not an issue...nor is getting health back. Surely not the scrapper that should be taking alphas and getting too much agro.
The trade off for being able to constantly pummel things I guess.
I am no scrap expert...I just think if you want more Def...take that Electric for GR. Lots of energy damage resistance. You will just need to slot some end reduction more is all.
You want to not worry about end and stay in the fight...regen is working out well for me..But i have to be more careful is all. You sacrifice taking a hit vs electric for the ability to wreck some faces constantly.

I'd recommend sticking with /Shield. It's a very powerful secondary, and has a lot of synergy with KM. If you're having end problems, that is normal at level 6 on anything but a Regen who takes QR at 4. As a side note, I don't even slot TOs. I put zero enhancements in powers until level 12 when DOs become available.
Here's three builds. The first two I just threw together and will follow approximately what I will slot when I hit 12 with DOs and 22 with SOs. The third build is the one I have planned to frankenslot IOs starting at level 27. I stuck in a Perf Shifter proc in Stamina, Miracle unique in Health, and Kismet unique in PF since I have them and will be using them. If you don't have these, substitute a regular End Mod, Heal, and Def enhancement respectively as appropriate. Also, you may have QS, which I skipped. If you do, you may have to extrapolate appropriate adjustments.
build 1: DOs You just kill things pretty quickly, but have to be end-mindful. Use Blue Insp.

In the early game on a Scrapper, I focus on my atacks, and slot them for ONLY accuracy and endurance. I try to avoid running very many toggles, because they won't do much good at that level, and because I can't afford the endurance cost.
And again to avoid possible discouragement, I find the teens to typically be the worst period for my scrappers. Then I get to SOs, and it gets better from there, generally a LOT better, and fairly quickly. By the mid 30s, I'm usually very solid.
Like Gaidin, I typically don't bother with TOs. I DID do it in Praetoria, because I wanted to stop and smell the flowers. Normally I'm moving so quickly through those early levels that it just seems silly to pause for TOs. Not that that's a recommendation. Just saying it's what I do.
And yeah, I'd stick with Shield Defense. If I were making a Kinetic Melee, I'd probably make a KM/SD.

Hey folks first off I am a off and on COH player I love the game but have never been able to totally commit myself to it. But I have sent many a players this way, I have had a COH account from pretty close the beginning of the game and have followed the all the changes over the past years and I come back off and on.
I have always prefered scrapper play never been able to lvl one up to cap but have played alot of them over the years.
When COV released I quickly switched to loving a brute but still did not reach level cap, whenever willpower was released it was a gold mine for me, I stuck with the game for a few months leveled up a brute to 50 and had a blast.
The one thing I have wanted since I tried out a EM stalker was a EM scrapper I just knew I would love to play one sadly that dream is still not a reality, but I can live with Kinetic melee.
I am looking for a good Secondary to run along side Kinetic melee, I have a KM/SD but at lvl 6 I am having serious Power issues already, and I am afraid that trend will continue if I do not change Secondarys to something more power friendly like WP is.
I know WP is amazing for a brute, but my question is wheather or not it is just as amazing for Scrappers.
TLDR:
I need a secondary for a KM scrapper, something very power friendly more than likely between WP, or Regen, or maybe ELA
