Have this happening for hours now. Retail partners don't sell booster packs.

Granted the card is new, but I've already paid for cell phone minutes and renewed my car registration. So, the card works...

I guess NCSoft doesn't want me spending better than $25 booster packs etc for this game? Waiting until tomorrow is pretty damned ridiculous.

Any help?

If the store is down and not taking orders what do you expect other players to do? Check in occasionally and eventually the store will be back up and you can make your purchase.


You also may want to check your account information and verify that you haven't exceeded the account spending limit.

They also have limits on their end in order to prevent fraudulent charges. Some parts of the world are rife with credit card fraud. Every time a fraudulent chargeback occurs it costs NSoft a penalty fee. They try to keep those from happening.

What about Paypal? I've gotten the same thing trying to order the game itself. It's a $40 pack that isn't sold anywhere locally.

Day 2 and still get that 'error'

Paypal also doesn't work. I guess I've used too many different credit cards lately and am now being punished for it? (2 separate ones before this while waiting for MY card to arrive in the mail. Previously used a friend's card to reactivate and get Going Rogue. Then a few days later a different friend's card for a booster pack.) 3 cards in a week = too many? Now I have to wait a week before I'm permitted to do anything?

...and the reason I asked this is that I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar problem, and how they corrected it or if it corrected it's self.

HELL YES IT'S TOO MANY!!!

That's what credit card fraud is, using other peoples cards to buy stuff.

A company with an online store can't investigate every charge and verify that each purchase is being made by the owner of the cardholder or has their permission to make the purchase. The retailer can only program their system to give warnings and flag the account where suspicious purchases occur.

AND PURCHASES USING THREE DIFFERENT CREDIT CARDS, OWNED BY THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN A WEEK IS DEFINITELY SUSPICIOUS!!!

Assuming this is the problem, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what flagged your account with NCSoft. You should call up billing on Monday if this still hasn't cleared up by then.

Why wait till Monday? Because no one works in billing on weekends.

Right, but why can this card not be used for anything? I go to activate my 2nd account and nothing. I go to purchase a booster pack for my friend who gave me the money to do so for his account and nothing. I guess it's the card that's suspicious (and there for 'locked') and not the 3 different cards in a week.

I hate my bank. "We'll have your new card to you in a few days." 2 weeks later an expansion I want is coming out and I have to do it this way. /end rant

I'll call them Monday and get this sorted out.

If this is about the use of three different credit cards in one week then they probably flagged your entire master account including the credit card information.

The only way to be sure is to call. I hope it's something that can be easily straightened out for you.



As to my use of the caps lock, it obviously worked because you had no problem understand the point I was emphasizing.

When I was trying to buy the boosters, it would give me that message when I'd try to buy a second one the same day. Sometimes it took even longer to clear. Sometimes I could buy two items one day by buying one with paypal and one with my card, sometimes I couldn't. If the problem lasts more than two days, check with NC and/or your CC companies.
