I think putting a blank name in the rename box will restore them to default.

all that does is tell me "invalid petname" in the combat window. I know there used to be a workaround for this, but cannot remember/seem to find it.
I recently started a Demon Summoning MM and thought it would be cool to give them demonic little names. I even made up sort of a naming convention. Any demon who's name started with Mag' was supposed to be hellfire elemental based. Mog' was supposed to be cold based, and so on. The problem I'm running into now is that when i summon them, the names don't stick to the demon i assigned them to. Sometimes mag is cold or fire. I thought to hell with it and wanted to get their default names back. I don't think it'll work if i just name them Hellfire Demonling and so on because the names will switch again.
Is there any way to erase a petname and get the default?
