In game portraits corrupted

So, for the past few months, whenever I've had to load an in game portrait, the game loads a corrupted image.

I thought this was a general glitch, until I realized that no one else had it. Any idea how to fix this?

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.

Intel Pentium Dual CPU T2370

Intel Graphics card (I know...)

Currently using Simple Rendering Mode.
