Yup I tried deleting a couple too (bunch of lowbies) and the slot says "UNAVAILABLE". Log out log back in and the toons reappear.

Yeah same thing happened to me last night. I deleted a lowbie on Freedom and now the slot is locked and says 'Unavailable'. I hope they get this fixed soon.
About six days ago I tried to delete one of my characters on Liberty, a level 1
I had created and never did anything with on the Villan side.
It SEEMS to delete but upon re-login at a later time it is back.
I tried deleting the character 5 times in the days since.
The last time I sort of succeeded, the character is still on my line up of chars (I only
have 5 total there) but if I log in on it it is a invisible character with no powers.
So this started before the release of Going Rogue.
And no, I do not have any 'extra;' slots. Mine are the default that come with any account.
Yeah I'm having this problem too with two characters. At first it was just one I thought it had something to do with me deleting the character around the time maintenance started, but when I tried to delete another character after the maintenance and it happened again I figured it was something else. I got a support ticket so waiting for a reply and help on it.
It's probably a server backlog due to the absurd numbers of new characters being made and deleted with GR. It should stop in a few days. If not, it may actually be a bug.

I regularly make new characters, wiping old concepts that I never really enjoyed playing all that much... However, I've run into a problem... Some of my deleted characters are still appearing in the char. select screen, though there is no shot of the body... Anyone know what's up with this?
