Making an Awesome Scrapper

I have made some scrappers, all my ideas seem to suck So any suggestions for a scrapper who can rock in PvP AND PvE?

Standard PvP answer: Melee is bad for PvP in this game.

Standard PvE answer: There are no sucky scrappers. What have you tried out so far and to what level have you gotten them? Like just about everything else in this game, scrappers don't really feel "right" until level 22 and SOs.

Be well, people of CoH.

I currently have a 18 spines/regen and i dread playing him. Having not taken the barb swipe he rarely has attacks up and now with quills he has crap endurance

I've got a ice/ice blaster how would that work in PvP?

Ice/Ice blaster is very mean in PvP.

Your spines/regen scrapper, thanks to its ranged attacks should be workable for PvP as long as you get some slow resistance. You shouldn't be having end issues.

Do you have quick recovery slotted with 3 end-mod DOs or basic IOs? Do you have an end-red in each attack? I promise you that it Will feel much different once you hit 22 and slot either SOs or lvl 25 basic IOs.

To follow up on Billz point. While its fun to try to grab the biggest orange number you can squeeze out of your attacks from a playability perspective End management is much more important on low level toons, especially if you are trying team play. So much of that extra damage goes to "corpse-blasting" where a similar percentage in end redux/ recharge can really make a huge difference in how low level toons "feel" play-wise.

Waiting for recharging powers or end bars to fill isnt "fun" and once you have the tools in place to manage those aspects of the game you can focus on increasing your "awesome" factor without feeling like you are waiting in line at the DMV.
