Hero Hamidon Raid, in the Hive.

Saturday, August 21st, 3 PM Pacific (4 PM Mountain, 5 PM Central, 6 PM Eastern).

@kidengineer (as Kid's Rock, or his brute) will be leading the raid/coordinating the teams and leading the Hami Aggro team.
@Major T (as Hellspat) will be leading the Yellow Mito Aggro team.
@Sooner (as Ici Cold) will be targeting for the General Assault teams.

Other team leads will be announced at the raid.

A few points to remember:
* The Hive is restricted to level 45+ heroes.
* Warburg Biological Mutagen and Chemical Burn warheads greatly help. If you can please acquire one for the raid.
* A full tray of Essence of the Earth (known as EoE) inspirations is very useful (but not absolutely necessary).
* The raid team leaders will use the Request channel to coordinate the teams. Please monitor the channel for instructions, but do not use it unless you are one of the raid team leaders
* It will hold 50 heroes, if the Hive fills up, do not leave the zone, there is no guarantee you'll get back into that instance.
* The Hamidon will spawn (bloom) 3 sets of Mitos at (75%, 50%, and 25%), in addition to the mitos that initially spawn with him.
* After Hamidon is defeated you will have the option of selecting 53 Reward Merits or a random Hamidon Origin Enhancement if you are level 47+.

If you can, please acquire Biological Mutagen warheads/nukes from Warburg prior to the raid. They help tremendously.

Please acquire Chemical Burn warheads/nukes from Warburg as well. We're planning to plow through the last bloom.

We may attempt a completely evac-less raid, depending on attendance. Depending on the number of Chemical Burn warheads/nukes acquired, we may even try to plow through the last three blooms!

I might be on my brute for the hero raid. But we'll see.

Congratulations Protector!

Also I'd like to thank Hyperstrike for bravely stepping up and leading the Yellow Mito Aggro team.

Job: well done!

Evacless (my first).

23 minutes 33 seconds.

That works out to 135 merits an hour (2.25 merits a minute)?

Yeah. I can live with that.

Great job everyone who showed. Hami spawned early, so EoEs were REALLY scarce. But we pulled it off anyhow.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

My third evacless raid, and it went almost as smooth as the two I did on Justice. I think we were just lacking a Dark Miasma to mass rez anyone that died in front of Hamidon when the blooms formed.

Still, Grade A.

That was a great raid. The speed and execution rival the best that I've seen. Having so many scrappers made killing the yellows quick and easy, which in turn made the rest of the raid quick and easy. Truth be told we had enough firepower to plow through the last 2 blooms simultaneously, but opted to stick with the plan. Thank you to everyone who came. Hope to see a repeat performance in the Abyss next week. See ya then.
