I was working on my AE arc and a few things came up that i think would really add a lot for authors. Let's discuss shall we.
In my opeing mission after resculing a ally you need to find a boss but far as i can tell you can't actually get them to spawn with a waypoint forcing a game of "find the green glow"
My second mission, when i envisioned it, had 2 big bads duking it out with each other, exhancing banter and with the players needing to help one of the 2 combatants by laying into the other one. I'd love to be to set of duels. Sort of like Battle but with one boss vs another. Preferably a AV vs a GM
On the same subject i'd love to be able to set a "switch sides" effect. Currently in mission 2 once you rescue the lord of Arachnos the other Arachnos patrols still try to kill you, and seriously what spider is going to try and fight Lord Recluse? I'd love it if you could set a paramenter like "when xxxx is complete" this patrol/boss/etc switches to ally or rogue.
Again id also like to spawn multiple GMs in the same map. Id love to have a Arachnos Flyer in the same map that is initaly Rikti controled but if the players do something like say defeat a sub boss and take the flyer down to half health it reverts to arachnos control
Lastly i'd love it if escorts could be programed with destination that doesn't exist yet. In my 5th mission i have some allies who have a grudge agaisnt the end boss, but the end boss doesn't spawn until his honor guard is defeated. Ideally I don't even want them as allies but independent 3rd parties on their own paralele mission. That might actually delay you (or help/team up) with you if you cross their path.

Agreed. In fact, escort-first-destination-second shouldn't just be an option, it should be the default. Completing a detail after you lead the escort to it is probably what most authors using escorts are trying to do.
