1st look at Linda Hamilton as Chuck's mom

At the time, we had no idea which actress would bring mother Bartowski to life, but Chuck's creators, Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, announced at Comic-Con that it would be none other than Linda Hamilton, aka The Terminator's Sarah Connor.

We won't get to see her in action until the fourth season premieres Sept. 20, but the series' new promo gives us the tiniest glimpse. Which we'll happily take.

Come with me if you want to live! Heh well I must say she looks a helluva lot better in that pic than she did the last time I saw her. I know she suffers from some mental illness (bi-polar I believe) and that it's really negatively affected her career and personal life. Let's just hope this role will give her a fresh start and help add some shine back to her star
