How to connect to the Beta server (English/Franais/Deutsch)

PLEASE NOTE, YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE BETA CLIENT ONTO A EUROPEAN NCSOFT LAUNCHER FOR THE TIME BEING; PLEASE SET YOUR NCSOFT LAUNCHER TO NORTH AMERICAN IN ORDER TO INSTALL IT!


If you have NCsoft Launcher and Beta installed.

1. Run the NCsoft Launcher shortcut to get the latest update.
2. Double-click CITY OF HEROES BETA in the NCsoft Launcher’s game list to play.

If you do not have NCsoft Launcher but have COH Beta installed.

1. Click the NCsoft Launcher link: http://us.ncsoft.com/en/launcher/ncsoft-launcher.html
2. Click Download Now.
3. Follow the instruction to install the NCsoft Launcher.
4. The NCsoft Launcher will start at the end of the installation.
5. Double-click CITY OF HEROES BETA in the NCsoft Launcher’s game list to play.

If you have NCsoft Launcher but do not have COH Beta installed.

1. Run NCsoft Launcher shortcut to get the latest update.
2. The NCsoft Launcher will start.
3. Create a copy of the NCsoft Launcher desktop shortcut.
4. Right click on the new shortcut and open the Properties option.
5. In the Target window, add the following flag to the end of the line:
[space]/LaunchGame=CohBeta
6. Run the shortcut.
7. The NCsoft Launcher will open, starting a City of Heroes Beta installation.
8. Click Install.
9. If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, confirm the UAC prompts. (if UAC is turned on).
10. After the installation completes, double-click CITY OF HEROES BETA in the NCsoft Launcher’s games list to play.


FRANCAIS

ATTENTION, VOUS NE POUVEZ PAS INSTALLER LE PROGRAMME DE BETATEST SUR UN LANCEUR NCSOFT PARAMETRE EN LANGUE EUROPEENNE. ASSUREZ-VOUS DE PARAMETRER VOTRE LANCEUR NCSOFT EN LANGUE ANGLAISE AMERICAINE AVANT DE SUIVRE LES INSTRUCTIONS SUIVANTES.

Si vous avez le NCsoft Launcher et le client Beta installés :

  1. Lancer le Launcher pour obtenir la dernière mise à jour
  2. Allez dans Fichier/Paramètres, onglet Avancés, et assurez-vous que la région soit bien Amérique du Nord
  3. Double-cliquez sur CITY OF HEROES BETA dans la liste des jeu du NCsoft Launcher pour le lancer.

Si vous n’avez pas le NCsoft Launcher mais avez le client Beta installé :
  1. Cliquer sur le lien du NCsoft Launcher : http://eu.ncsoft.com/fr/launcher/ncsoft-launcher.html
  2. Cliquer sur Télécharger Maintenant.
  3. Suivez les instruction pour installer le NCsoft Launcher
  4. Le NCsoft Launcher démarrera à la fin de l’installation
  5. Aller dans Fichier/Paramètres, onglet avancés, et assurez-vous que la région soit bien Amérique du Nord
  6. Double-cliquer sur CITY OF HEROES BETA dans la liste des jeu du NCsoft Launcher pour le lancer.

Si vous avez le NCsoft Launcher mais pas le client Beta installé :
  1. Lancer le NCsoft Launcher pour obtenir la dernière mise à jour
  2. Créer une copie du raccourci du NCsoft Launcher sur le Bureau
  3. Cliquer-droit sur le raccourci nouvellement créé et ouvrir les Propriétés
  4. Dans la boite de dialogue Cible, ajouter le texte suivant à la fin de la ligne :
    [espace]/LaunchGame=CohBeta
  5. Lancer le raccourci
  6. Le NCsoft Launcher va s’ouvrir en commençant l’installation du client Beta
  7. Cliquer sur Installer
  8. Si vous avez Windows Vista ou Windows 7, et si on vous demande une confirmation, cliquer sur Accepter
  9. Une fois que l’installation est finie, aller dans Fichier/Paramètres, onglet Avancés. Assurez-vous que la région soit bien Amérique du Nord
  10. Double-cliquer sur CITY OF HEROES BETA dans la liste des jeu du NCsoft Launcher pour jouer.


DEUTSCH

BITTE BEACHTET, DASS IHR NICHT DEN BETA-CLIENT DURCH DEN EUROPÄISCHEN NCSOFT LAUNCHER INSTALLIEREN KÖNNT; BITTE STELLT EUREN NCSOFT LAUNCHER AUF NORDAMERIKANISCH UM, UM DEN BETA-CLIENT ZU INSTALLIEREN!

Falls ihr schon den NCsoft Launcher und Beta installiert habt:
  1. Startet den NCsoft Launcher, und ladet das neueste Update herunter.
  2. Doppel-Klickt CITY OF HEROES BETA in der Spiel-Liste des NCsoft Launchers.

Falls ihr CoH Beta, aber NICHT den NCsoft Launcher installiert habt:
  1. Geht auf diese Webseite: http://eu.ncsoft.com/de/launcher/ncsoft-launcher.html
  2. Ladet den NCsoft Launcher herunter.
  3. Folgt den Hinweisen, um den NCsoft Launcher zu installieren.
  4. Der NCsoft Launcher wird automatisch gestartet, sobald die Installation abgeschlossen ist.
  5. Doppel-Klickt CITY OF HEROES BETA in der Spiel-Liste des NCsoft Launchers.

Falls ihr den NCsoft Launcher, aber NICHT CoH Beta installiert habt:
  1. Startet den NCsoft launcher, um das neueste Update zu bekommen.
  2. Der NCsoft Launcher wird automatisch gestartet.
  3. Erstellt eine neue Verknüpfung für den NCsoft Launcher auf eurem Desktop.
  4. Rechtsklickt auf der neuen Verknüpfung, und wählt „Eigenschaften“.
  5. In dem Ziel-Fenster, bitte tippt das folgende ein:
    [Leertaste]/LaunchGame=CohBeta
  6. Startet die Verknüpfung
  7. Der NCsoft Launcher wird gestartet, und die Installation von City of Heroes Beta wird beginnen.
  8. Klickt „Installieren“
  9. Falls ihr Windows Vista oder Windows 7 benutzt, akzeptiert jegliche UAC-Aufforderungen, falls sie erscheinen sollten.
  10. Nachdem die Installation abgeschlossen ist, doppel-klickt CITY OF HEROES BETA in der Spiel-Liste des NCsoft Launchers, um zu spielen!
