Problems loading COH

Hi people,

I have just reloaded windows XP on my laptop which I've played COH on for a few years now and i've re installed all the latest drivers etc, I then installed COH after reactivating my account. (Been away for a while)

All good so far.

Upon firing up COH I log in, choose a server and then go to my heroes screen...

Only no heroes. The list is there on the left and the arrows to rotate the figure are there but no character.... if I try to enter Paragon City it crashes.

I have the latest driver installed for my graphics and DirectX etc

Any ideas good people? It may be something obvious that I'm missing but can't think what.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, we need more information to solve the crashing thing (Go to the tech boards and look into the "common solutions & posting guide" sticky).

Missing characters should be easily solvable though; you likely chose the wrong server, as characters are not shared between servers. For reference servers are listed in the following order;

• Last server accessed
• Lowest server load
• [...]
• Highest server load

So it might be a little tricky to check all the servers for your old characters, as their order is forever being switched around. Also, you've already found the arrows for flipping between pages of character lists, so you might try giving that a go on each server you check. Sometimes things get a little glitchy and characters end up on odd pages.

I was on the correct server and all my characters were listed, it was the actual figures and background that were missing.
