Question: are you on a trial? Trials are not allowed to use AE, and also not allowed to talk in anything other than Local chat.

From what you are describing, your on a Trial Account. What is linked is a description of the Trail Account Restrictions off of Paragonwiki.
Once you purchase and upgrade to a full account, AE will be open to you.

You can join a team that is running AE mission, but you cannot start your own, or create your own arc if you are on a trial account.

Teams I knew about but didn't want to get too in-depth, as I'm told I tend to do. Help I always forget about.. lol.

Whenever I try to access a computer, it says, "You're unable to access Architect Entertainment from this location." I went through the walkthrough/tour and it still won't let me, I also tried the no power B floor. Also, I know this is a silly question, but whenever I try talking in game, I press enter to type, and when I want to send the message I press enter again, right? Because when I press enter again the message just disappears and I'm not sure if people are seeing what I'm saying aha.
