It probably wouldn't really stand out with everything else zapping and whooshing around. 
(Much like ... I think it's Lotus? putting in recorded car motor - and other - sounds on an electric car to cue others in that it's around.)

So, why is it nobody seems to know that a monorail sounds NOTHING like steel wheels on traditional dual train tracks? Go to Disneyland, go to Seattle or Las Vegas and listen to a REAL monorail. Can we please have a monorail that has a proper electric whine and whoosh instead of clackity clackity like a clanky iron elevated commuter train from NY or Chicago?
