Old player returning needing build suggestions (Fire/Dev & AR/Fire)
I have been messing with Mid's while sticking with just my SO build. This is what I came up with not really knowing how much I'll really use this or that. I tried to keep it fairly inexpensive (sub 500m) with a hope for some decent AE/Merit rolls.
Any thoughts or glaring mistakes? I'm usually in a group so I think I over did the defense for when I solo. I wasn't sure about the Gaussian's in Targetting Drone vs Aim (Chance for Buildup)

AR/Fire is straightforward damage. Lots of AoE madness and charred corpses.
To leverage all the AoE, I find it useful to adopt a very mobile play style. Line up cones mid-combat, quickly leap in and out to joust with fire sword circle, always moving to the best spot to maximize damage. I use hurdle and combat jumping for this purpose, since they never shut off when you attack.
For large-bags-of-hit-points that heavily resist lethal damage, I use Ring of Fire and Ignite, jousting with Fire Sword (use hurdle and combat jumping to attack mid-air as I hop past). Ring of Fire does nice damage for a tier 1 immobilize, and recharges quickly enough to stack on bosses. Once that target is stuck, start the barbecue. And practice your maniacal laugh.
... Did I mention this combo really suits my play style?

My guild is looking at coming back to CoX in time for Going Rogue after a long hiatus (pre IO). We normally run a group of 4 with a scrapper, 2 blasters and the mystery girl (she cant decide between WS or Def). Me and the other blaster are having trouble finding suggestions for builds. We dont have a lot of inf to go for the high-end purple sets.
I searched and scanned posts to no avail. I/wed appreciate any suggestions you guys have for a Fire/Dev and a AR/Fire (were weird)
