Can anyone tell me how I can drop an Ouroboros mission? I'm stuck in one that I can't possibly win. Selecting 'Abandon' doesn't work, nor does asking the Contact to end it.

You are technically in a Task force, so can drop it that way.
Click on the 'team' (to make your team window appear) then on the button to quit task force
(note: that will drop the whole arc you are doing too)
