I care more about hit-and-run and killing things than scrapping, so I'm trying to pump my damage a bit. I might be interested in suggestions for boosting my damage that compromise my defenses a little. I already compromised a bit of recharge, so I don't want to lose too much more of that.
No hyper-expensive IO's (multiple LotG, Miracle+Numina, PvP sets, or real purples)
I know Smoke Flash doesn't Hide you; I plan to use it to run in, kill something, and flee (e.g. crystals on the ITF or spawn bosses when I'm bored while waiting for a team). It's my understanding that people who hate the power aren't using it like that, they expect Hidden status. Correct me if it really is just bad, or if I don't really need it for hit-and-run (character is currently only 20).
I might go Mako instead of Ghost Widow, but I like GW for set mules... I may need to wait and see whether I need the mitigation from Mako.
Caltrops doesn't break Hidden, from what I hear; am I right that this might make it more useful, or at least more wacky fun, than the 2% defense from Combat Jumping?
