Looking for a build and advice for Energy/Energy/Force
After taking a look at your build I tweaked with it some. 2% less ranged/melee def but added more S/L def and more AOE def to just round out your protection overall. Increased your endurance efficiency and Recharge as well. I also added some of my own taste in the build by making a few power and some slotting changes. Replaced acrobatics with Energy Punch (for more blappy goodness) and added a Karma KB protection into CJ. Replaced EB with Energy Torrent for more aoe dmg and slotted repulsion bomb for dmg. Repulsion bomb wont scatter your mobs so you can follow it up with an Energy Torrent and usually take out most of the minions in a group if you BU/AIM first. Unslotted boxing because it's crap even for a mule imo. That's about it for what I did of note, you should find this build to be plenty sturdy in groups or solo.

I like what you did there with Build Up and Aim. I am definitely going to incorporate some of this.
One thing I'm torn on is whether to strive for position defense or damage type defense. I will inform you all shortly of my findings.
S/L def is an easy one for an energy blaster to (almost) cap and it covers alot of attacks in melee/range/aoe but you need to switch to ice ancillary for that def shield. I might end up doing this myself (my main is nrg/nrg/force as well) with a second build but will have to see if I am up to that when I finish fleshing out my first one entirely.
It makes me sad that one epic powerset is so much better than the others. :/
And that this one betterest powerset makes you look like a lego man.
I wouldn't say one is so much better than the others. Force is pretty wicked because of PFF and teaming that with Aid self like in the other build. Blasters get no Def Debuff resist so even though you are capped to S/L it can still go down with some bad luck. Also just for completeness sake here's what I threw together for capped S/L def.

This is mine. I take a very opposite strategy as I use KB for active mitigation instead of slotting for defense.
This is my main. It's a blapper that I created in I4. It's been through several respecs but this is the current incarnation.
I literally spray enemies everywhere. While they are knocked, getting up, and attempting to close to melee. I use blaps to take out single targets. I toss in the AoEs every time they are recharged. They don't do quite as much damage slotted this way but for this build and style the AoE damage is gravy. The AoE powers are used for mitigation.
If I get overwhelmed I turtle up in PFF and use Aid Self. I let the mobs bunch up around me and then turn on Super Jump with one of them targeted. Leap away, drop PFF, and Energy Torrent + Explosive Blast I fight for 11 more seconds and PFF is again ready for any emergencies.

So, I'm pretty new to blasters. I have a level 32 radiation/energy blaster who's more or less shelved, and that's all. I generally make characters based on concept, and after much agonizing, I've decided on these three powersets.
I have an "in theory" build, which I'll paste in here at the end. Goes without saying that it is noobish and probably inefficient, but I figured I'd do some of my own brainstorming first of all.
My goals are the following:
1) Soloability
2) Ability to blap in teams without getting hosed by AOE.
3) Reasonably high survivability.
4) No purple enhancement sets. I can make decent cash on my tanker, but I just don't have the time to pour tons of money into one character.
Any tips are hugely appreciated. Feel free to point me toward helpful guides.
